Be aware that as Larime is very low income (and has terrible credit due to an abusive previous care-provider), he DOES NOT have a bank account or Paypal. All payments need to be made in one of the following ways:

• Post Office money order
• Moneygram money order or transfer
• Western Union transfer
• Walmart gift card(s).

Checks CANNOT be cashed. Moneygram and Western Union transfers can be done online via their websites, and Walmart gift cards can also be purchased online and shipped at their website. Moneygram and Western Union charge fees to send money, and you may deduct this fee from the cost of your purchase. Please check with Larime about which payment method is best for your purchase. His mailing address and necessary info will be provided in email.

Include attachments or links to any photos you want used in your art. Photos should be as large and as clear as possible, and should NOT be shot in profile unless you want it drawn that way.

Payment in advance is NOT required, but IS appreciated when it occurs. A low-res proof of your finished art will e emailed to you in .JPG format upon completion, but the final, print-ready file will not be sent until payment is received.

All artwork is the property of the customer once paid for, and may be used in any way you choose. Credit is appreciated where applicable. Larime reserves the right to use any and all work for sample purposes.

Q. What is Larime’s disability?
A. Larime was born with Arthrogryposis, a birth defect that impacts the development of the limbs in utero.

Q. Why can’t I send a check? Why don’t you have Paypal?
A. Due to bills run up by a previous live-in care provider in Larime’s name, banks will only let him open an account that retains a minimum balance as his credit is shot. Since he lives below the poverty line, he can’t afford that. No bank account means no cashing personal checks and no getting money (easily) from Paypal. We apologize for the inconvenience. It’s inconvenient for us, too!

Q. Can I make a donation without purchasing?
A. Certainly! Use the ‘contact’ link to the left. Donations are hugely appreciated!

Q. What does my money go towards?
A. Food, bills, rent and other necessities. We live below the poverty line, so we aren’t in a position to be blowing money on hookers and crack. We have bills to pay.

Q. Does Larime draw pets?
A. Somewhat. By that we mean that animals are not his specialty – people are – but he can draw pretty much anything with a good photo to reference. For pricing purposes, treat pets as portraiture.

Q. Does Larime do webdesign or logos?
A. No. Larime is, alas, an illustrator and cartoonist, and isn’t very good at graphic design.

Q. How long should I expect to wait for my art?
A. Generally allow up to 3-4 weeks, though he usually works pretty fast. If there is going to be a delay, he’ll email you and let you know.

Q. Why is color double the standard price?
A. Color is FAR more time-consuming for a number of reasons, and so it costs more as it takes considerably longer.
